ABOUT THE CENTRE FOR ADVANCED RESEARCH (CAR)

 

      CAR aims to support and strengthen the scientific research and teaching by providing state-of-the-art instrumentation and expertise in applications of high-end sophisticated instruments to the researchers and students of university and other institutions. The CAR at the Dr. Harisingh Gour Vishwavidhyalaya, Sagar is equipped with Nuclear Manetic Resonance Spectrometer, Single Crystal X-Ray Diffraction, Powder XRD, LC-Mass Spectrometer, Scanning and Transmission Electron Microscope, Nanospary Drier, Particle Size Analyzer, Q-PCR and many more such instruments to facilitate our goal.

This facility was developed with support from UGC, New Delhi and DST-PURSE scheme. It is proudly associated with the ambitious i-STEM scheme (Indian Science, Technology and Engineering Facilities Map) of Government of India (https:www.istem.gov.in) to ensure Optimal Usage of R&D Resources. Since its inception in 2014, a number of high-impact research publications have been published with the help of instruments available at CAR. We welcome all the scientists, research scholars and students to utilize thisfacility for analyzing their samples and producing world-class publications. Details of the instruments and charges thereof are provided herewith.
