पत्रिकाएँ- विभाग नए अनुसंधानकर्ताओं के लिए एक केंद्र के रूप में कार्य कर रहा है जो अपने शोध कार्यों को लेखों के रूप में प्रकाशित करना चाहते हैं। विभाग त्रैमासिक शोध पत्रिकाओं "सागरिका" और "नाट्यम" के रूप में आदर्श विकल्प प्रदान करता है। पहली “सागरिका” 1965 से ISSN 2229-5577 के साथ संस्कृत में और दूसरी “नाट्यम्” 1982 से ISSN 2229-5550 के साथ हिंदी में प्रकाशित हो रही है। विभाग द्वारा संस्कृत से संबंधित महत्वपूर्ण एवं प्रभावशाली विषयों पर सागरिका के विशेष अंक प्रस्तुत किए जा रहे हैं- |

Manuscript Resource Centre (MRC) MRC Sagar is established in the Department of Sanskirt, Dr. H.S. Gour Vishwavidyalaya Sagar in Sep. 2005 by National Mission for Manuscript New Delhi which is a special project of Indira Gandhi Rastriya Kala Kendra, Ministry of Culture and Tourism, Government of India. Prof. Achyutanand Dash was the first co-ordinator of this centre. Prof. Anand Prakash Tripathi co-ordinates MRC Astt.Coordinator Dr. Rishabh Bhardwaj ,cum centre in-charge of this centre, three data base surveyor are also working with him. MRC is situated in separate extension building of Sanskrit Department. The aim and the objective of the MRC is to surveying, documenting and cataloguing the manuscripts in areas prescribed by the NMM, and to convert information in to electronic format and conduct awareness campaign programme about the manuscript. The catch up area for the survey work for MRC is prescrived for the districts Bhind, Morena, Gwalior, Datiya, Sheopur, Shivpuri, Chhatarpur and Tikamgarh. The centre is maintaining a Manuscript Library comprising about 6000 manuscripts, Catalogue of Manuscripts is in preparation. A Local Advisory Committee for MRC was constituted under the Chairmanship of the Honorable Vice-Chancellor.
