संगीत विभाग के बारे में
विभाग ने 1973 में एक अस्थायी स्टाफ के साथ संगीत शिक्षण के रूप में अपनी यात्रा शुरू की और फिर फरवरी 1979 से एक पूर्ण विभाग के रूप में स्थापित हो गया। गायन, तबला और सितार शिक्षण विभाग का मुख्य फोकस था। इस विभाग के कई छात्रों ने प्रशंसा प्राप्त की है; राज्य स्तर और राष्ट्रीय स्तर की अंतर विश्वविद्यालय प्रतियोगिताओं / युवा महोत्सवों में रैंक प्राप्त की है और कुछ छात्रों ने स्वर्ण पदक प्राप्त किया है। इस विभाग के कई छात्रों के प्रदर्शन को दूरदर्शन के राष्ट्रीय चैनल और ऑल इंडिया रेडियो पर कई बार प्रसारित किया गया।
विभागीय गौर ग्रुप ने 32वें एफआईएमयू अंतर्राष्ट्रीय संगीत महोत्सव फ्रांस बेलफोर्ट 17-21 मई 2018 में भाग लिया। 2019, 2020 और 2021 के वर्ष में SWAYAM CENTRAL पर विभागीय संकाय द्वारा तीन यूजी MOOC (वोकल और तबला) पाठ्यक्रम पेश किए गए।
