• On its 66th Foundation Day, Department of Anthropology, Dr. Harisingh Gour Vishwavidyalaya Sagar signed MoU with Paleoethnology Research Center (PRC) Moscow on 16 July 2022. • Department of Anthropology, Dr. Harisingh Gour Vishwavidyalaya Sagar signed MoU with State Forensic Science Laboratory (SFSL) Sagar, Government of Madhya Pradesh on 08 October 2018.

1. Prof. Rajesh K. Gautam received UGC's Raman Post-Doctoral Fellowship for the USA in 2016.
2. Dr. Sarvendra Yadav received a Travel Grant from the Indian Council of Social Science Research (ICSSR) New Delhi and Madhya Pradesh Council of Science and Technology (MPCST) Bhopal to attend the 12^th Conference of the European Sociological Association (ESA), Prague, Czech Republic, August 25-28, 2015. 
3. Prof. Rajesh K. Gautam received Young Progressive Career Achievement Award-2018 by the Department of Anthropology, University of Delhi.
4. Prof. K.K.N. Sharma received the Teaching and Research Career Achievement Award-2018 by the Department of Anthropology, University of Delhi.

7. Dr. Aribam Bijayasundari, in the capacity of the Principal Investigator, has successfully completed one Minor Research Project entitled “Perception and Practice of Tobacco Use and Its Health Consequences among the Adolescents and Young Adults of Sagar District, Madhya Pradesh” funded by the Indian Council of Social Science Research (ICSSR) for an amount of Two Lakh in the year 2017-19.
8. Prof. Rajesh Kumar Gautam, Course Coordinator for MHRD’s GIAN course on “Emergence and Evolution of Environmentalism in a cross-cultural Perspective: A Comparative Study of US and India”, Dr. Harisingh Gour University, Sagar, (M.P.), April 22-27, 2019.
9. Prof. K.K.N. Sharma delivered a national lecture at Bastar University Jagdalpur on 09 February 2019. 
10. Prof. K.K.N. Sharma received 5 Lakhs funding to organize a 'National seminar on Tribal Traditional Knowledge and documentation of Medicinal Practices' from the Tribal  Research and Development Institute Bhopal, 06.05.2019.
11. Prof. K.K.N. Sharma has been the Principal Investigator of a Major Project entitled “Evaluation of Post Project of Saansad Adarsh Gram Yojana (SAGY)- Phase-1 Zone-6 (Madhya Pradesh & Chhattisgarh)” funded by the Ministry of Rural Development, Government of India, New Delhi for an amount of 32.09 Lakh in the year 2018-19.
12. Dr. Sarvendra Yadav received a registration grant from International Sociological Association’s (ISA) Working Group 06 on Institutional Ethnography to present a paper in the IV ISA Forum of Sociology, Porto Alegre, Brazil, February 23-28, 2021. 
13. Dr. Sarvendra Yadav received Wenner-Gren Scholarship from the International Union of Anthropological and Ethnological Sciences (IUAES) to present a paper in the IUAES Congress 2021, Yucatán, México, November 9-13, 2021.
14. Dr. Sonia Kaushal received Wenner-Gren Scholarship from the International Union of Anthropological and Ethnological Sciences (IUAES) to present a paper in the IUAES Congress 2021, Yucatán, México, November 9-13, 2021.
