Research Projects
A research project entitled “Development of Situational Judgment Test Items for the Assessment of Personality Attributes” was sanctioned to Dr. G. K. Tiwari, Assistant Professor of Psychology on 11.08.2021. The sanction amount is Rs. 724000.00 (Rupees Seven lacs twenty four thousand only) and its duration is for eighteen months.
A research project entitled “Nurturing resilience to cope with existential anxiety and stereotype threats among high-risk population: Psychotherapeutic interventions during COVID-19 pandemic” under special call for studies on Social Sciences dimensions of COVID-19 coronavirus was sanctioned to Dr. Sanjay Kumar, Assistant Professor of Psychology during 2020-21. The sanction amount is Rs. 600000.00 (Rupees Six lack only) and its duration is for nine months.
A research project entitled “Awareness and Attitude towards Globalization and its impact on Person and Social Identity among Indian Youth” was sanctioned by ICSSR, New Delhi to Dr. Sanjay Kumar, Assistant Professor of Psychology during 2017-18 (10.01.2018). The sanction amount is Rs. 300000.00 (Rupees Three lack only) and its duration is for eighteen months.
Achievements
- Department has started a new Postgraduate Diploma Course in Guidance and counseling and health and wellbeing from session 2020-2021
- Students have qualified UGC NET exam during 2015-2020.
- Department has organized several workshops/training- programmers from 2015 to 2020
- Several students have got various awards in different conferences and renowned platforms.
- Students have also got appointed in various institutions.
