परिचय:
डॉक्टर हरीसिंह गौर विश्वविद्यालयम सागर (पूर्व नाम : सागर विश्वविद्यालय) 18 जुलाई, 1946 को महान शिक्षाविद, विधिशास्त्री, लेखक डॉ. सर हरीसिंह गौर के द्वारा स्थापित किया गया था. विश्वविद्यालय के अकादमिक श्रेष्ठता को स्वीकार करते हुए भारत सरकार ने इस विश्वविद्यालय को 15 जनवरी, 2009 को केन्द्रीय विश्वविद्यालय के रूप में प्रोन्नत किया. विश्वविद्यालय अपनी अकादमिक संलग्नता को अपने प्रकाशनों के माध्यम से भी व्यक्त करता रहा है. इस दृष्टि से विश्वविद्यालय द्वारा प्रकाशित मानविकी एवं समाजविज्ञान की द्विभाषी शोध-पत्रिका “मध्य भारती” की भूमिका उल्लेखनीय है. विश्वविद्यालय द्वारा ‘मध्यभारती’ का प्रकाशन 1952 से निरन्तर किया जा रहा है. जिसमें देश भर के श्रेष्ठतम विद्वानों, विशेषज्ञों के आलेख प्रकाशित होते रहे हैं. प्रकाशन सामग्री श्रेष्ठता के आधार पर मध्य भारती को (ISSN: 0974-0066) को पूर्व में UGC Listed पत्रिकाओं की सूची (No. 48918) में सम्मिलित किया गया था. वर्तमान में “मध्यभारती” UGC Care List, Group-C (Multi disciplinary), Sl.no.-15 पर सूचीबद्ध है.
Introduction:
Doctor Harisingh Gour Vishwavidyalaya Sagar (formerly known as: Sagar University) was established on July 18, 1946 by the great educationist, jurist, writer Dr. Sir Harisingh Gour. Recognizing the academic excellence of the University, the Government of India promoted this University as a Central University on January 15, 2009.The university has also been expressing its academic engagement through its publications. From this point of view, the role of “Madhya Bharati”, a bilingual research journal of humanities and social sciences published by the university, is noteworthy. "Madhya Bharati" has been continuously published by the university since 1952, featuring articles by leading scholars and experts from across the country. Due to its excellence in publishing material, Madhya Bharati (ISSN: 0974-0066) is currently listed on the UGC CARE List, Group-C (Multidisciplinary), Sl. No. 15. It was previously included in the list of UGC Listed magazines (No. 48918).
