    Welcome Message from Chief Co-ordinator

The Centre for Advanced Research (CAR) at Dr. Harisingh Gour Vishwavidyalaya, Sagar, was established in 2014 with the support of the University Grants Commission (UGC), New Delhi, and the DST-PURSE scheme. The Centre is dedicated to enhancing scientific research and education by providing access to state-of-the-art instrumentation and technical expertise in the application of advanced analytical techniques.

CAR houses a suite of 29 sophisticated instruments, organized under eight specialized centres, each serving distinct research domains. Since its inception, CAR has contributed significantly to high-impact scientific research, resulting in numerous peer-reviewed publications. Furthermore, CAR is a proud partner in the Government of India’s prestigious I-STEM initiative (Indian Science, Technology and Engineering Facilities Map) — https://www.istem.gov.in — which aims to promote optimal utilization of R&D infrastructure across the nation.

The Centre welcomes young researchers and bright students to avail themselves of its advanced facilities in pursuit of scientific discovery and innovation.
