Lab timings for booking and registrations starts from 10:00 am to 05:30 pm, on University working days.
From where can I get the booking slots for instruments ?
You need to send an email to the CAR on This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. with all your sample details and analysis required. After getting confirmation you can pay the required fee and you will be allotted a slot for sample analysis.
Where can I find the list of instruments and charges?
User Fee for various Instruments available at CAR webpage under the Charge List tab.
How do I locate the place?
The CAR office is located at Electron Microscopy Building beside Commerce Department, DHSGSU.
Do I need to submit the samples and application form separately if multiple analysis are required?
No! Please submit samples along with duly filled Request Form by mentioning details of samples for each analysis techniques in a single form.
What is the quantity of samples I need to submit for analysis?
The quantity of samples that need to be submitted vary from instrument to instrument and you may enquire the details on This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.
Can I get my analysis result over E-mail?
Yes! Please mention your E-mail address in the field provided in the Sample Request Form.
What are the procedures for Fee Payment?
User Fee for the Analysis can be made in Online Mode through payment link available on CAR webpage or using debit/credit cards at the University fees counter.
How long the sample will be stored in CAR after analysis? Can I get my samples back after analysis?
The sample will be stored for one weeks after analysis. Thereafter the sample will be discarded without any notice, if not requested. In case samples are to be returned, the user can collect the samples from CAR office / the user need to pay the courier charges.
Is there any chance to study the working of instruments at CAR?
CAR periodically conducts Trainings/Workshops on various sophisticated instruments. You can join these platforms to make use of the facilities at CAR.
Do I need to acknowledge CAR in my Thesis and Publications?

What is the sample submission procedure?
It is not mandatory to deliver the sample personally. After completion of payment, you can send the sample via Post/ Courier along with duly filled request forms.
Is online payment facility available?
Yes! you may pay the facility charges online via payment link on CAR webpage.
What are the instruments available in CAR?

How much time would be taken for the analysis to be conducted after providing the filled Request Forms?
At CAR, we follow the ‘First Come - First Serve’ queue system. So that the time taken for analysis will be according to your position in the queue. You can get this information by intimating with CAR office.
