PEDAGOGICAL ENHANCEMENT WORKSHOP

TL1:Workshop on Basic Level Skills for Social Science Teachers

This workshop aims to foster basic ICT Skills of the educators. In this workshop, the participants will be exposed to word processing tools, assessment tools and tagging, presentation tools,

spreadsheet – computing tools, static content development, anti-plagiarism tools and other relevant techniques.

There shall be hands on exercise on the usage of these ICT Tools to develop static e-content and assessments.

TL2:Workshop on Intermediate Level Skills for Social Science Teachers

Educators from different subjects have different ICT Tools to be utilized for their teaching and related assignments. This workshop aims to introduce and strengthen the subject specific ICT skills.

There shall be hands on training for educators in History, Political Science, Geography and Economics for empowering them with appropriate ICT Tools.

TL3:Workshop on Advance Level Skills for Social Science Teachers

This workshop intends to train the educators with advanced ICT enabled content development skills with emphasis on instructional designing for e-content development, interactive tools and

storyboard development.

There shall be hands on exercise on the usage of these ICT Tools to develop storyboard for concept based animations and interactive assessments. Hands on training on interactive tools for classroom

teaching like interactive board shall equip educators to become tech savvy teachers.

CDL1: National Workshop on Curriculum Development

The objective of this workshop is to introduce the educators with ICT enabled content enrichment skills via medium of certain tools and techniques such as multimedia enriched e-content development, audio-recording and editing tools, video-recording and editing tools, multimedia enriched presentations.

There shall be hands on exercise on the usage of these ICT Tools to develop multimedia enriched content in form of video to enrich their classroom teaching. Teachers shall be also trained for recording professional audio and videos.

CDL2: National Workshop on Curriculum Development

This workshop exposes the educators to MOOC / Online Course creation and management, learning management systems – Open source and SWAYAM. Educators will learn how to create online courses, add students and share their content, manage discussion forums, grade online assignments, online assessments, etc.

There shall be hands on exercise on the usage of these ICT Tools to develop virtual online course of their own and integrate e-learning with conventional teaching.
