Achievements of the department (Award and recognitions)
Department of Education has received grant of worth Rs 8.76 Cr. In December 2015 under the PMMMNMTT scheme of MHRD, Government of India, for the up-gradation of Department of Education into School of Education with its two centres namely Centre for Pre-service Teacher Education (CPSTE) and Centre for Professional Development of Teacher Educators (CPDTE).
